Do I need to be a professional photographer to join?
Not at all! Our photo safaris are designed for all skill levels — from smartphone shooters to seasoned pros. We even offer optional coaching from wildlife photography experts.
A DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens (200mm–600mm) is ideal. A wide-angle lens is great for landscapes. We’ll send you a full gear list upon booking. We provide an option to rent cameras as well!

Depending on your itinerary, you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalo, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, rhinos, chimpanzees, gorillas, and hundreds of bird species.
Yes — but only on specific itineraries. Gorilla or chimpanzee trekking can be added as an optional activity or included in custom safaris.

How physically demanding is gorilla trekking?
Gorilla trekking can be moderately strenuous, lasting 2–6 hours through hilly terrain. Porters and walking sticks are available to assist you.

Is it safe to travel in Uganda?
Yes. Uganda is a safe and welcoming country, especially in the national parks where we operate. All safaris are conducted by trained local guides and drivers.
